What Does Standing above the Crowd mean to you?

What does Standing above the Crowd mean to you?

As the author of my soon to be released book titled, Standing Above The Crowd (release date is set for September 2010) www.StandingAboveTheCrowd.com  I attempt to help people see that they can Stand Above The Crowd, all without having to be 7 feet tall. Smile!

Invariably, someone will come up to me and say that it’s easy for me to stand above the crowd since I’m already “up there”.

What I point out in my book is that many times the crowd isn’t the crowd that you see out in front of you, but many times it’s the crowd that we don’t see that’s running around inside our minds.  We all have that (not so still) small voice in our heads that tells us what we can and can’t do, or what we should or shouldn’t do.  It’s normal and natural.

It’s a good thing when the voice is a positive one, but it’s troublesome when the voice is a negative one.  That’s the crowd that we have to continue standing above@

So, when that voice of the crowd in your mind starts to go negative, turn it into a positive one by seeing the glass as half full instead of half empty.  Surround yourself with positive images, sounds, friends, news and music.  There’s so much that you can to create a positive environment in which you can’t help but think positive.

That’s what Standing above the Crowd is all about!  You can do it!
