What Does Standing above the Crowd mean to you? (Pt. II)

What does Standing above the Crowd mean to you?

As the author of my soon to be released book titled, Standing Above The Crowd (release date is set for September 2010) www.StandingAboveTheCrowd.com  I attempt to help people see that they can Stand Above The Crowd, all without having to be 7 feet tall. Smile!

I heard a great story the other day in which the storyteller described a couple of ways that you can be the tallest tree in the forest (aka. Standing Above The Crowd).

One way is to go about chopping down every tree in sight and downgrading those around you.  This might help you to feel better about yourself in the short run, but in the long run, it'll backfire on you.

The other way is to go about and stand tall in the face of adversity, face challenges head-on, keep yourself filled with integrity and help those around you to be the best they can be.  By taking this route, you'll gain the respect of others as well as develop a healthy sense of self esteem and self respect.

That’s what Standing above the Crowd is all about!  You can do it!
