To address the dangers of distraction and overfilling bathtubs and sinks, as well as areas of concern such as water heater closets where additional risks of flooding may occur, a supervised, wireless flood detector is available. The flood detector adheres instantly to a wall or adjacent surface to a floor or water heater tray to detect flooding or pooling water. In the event that flooding is detected the flood detector will transmit a wireless alert to the master control unit. A signal will then be transmitted in seconds to the emergency response center who in turn notifies individuals designated on a responsible party list created between LifeSupport Medical and the customer. Responsible party lists may include physicians, friends, neighbors, caregivers or loved ones.
