ReplyDeleteLifeSupport Medical's solution is well rounded, robust and high quality. The electronics in our components are of the highest grade. The system was designed with the customer needs in mind first and foremost. Systems go through a full set of quality assurance screenings at the factory. 100% of the products shipping to the field are fully tested once again at our headquarters and then a self diagnostic test and a full accounting of reports to the monitoring facility verify with certainty that the system is working properly in the home. Across every 24 hour day our systems silently run devices through a series of on-going diagnostics and checks to monitor continued performance and reliability once set up in a residence.
Our product designs were created to address the most common risks, safety concerns, health emergencies and customer lifestyle considerations. We provide a blanket of protection for each customer we protect. Our 4-step fall and emergency protection is one-of-a-kind in the industry. Our automatic fall detector is reliable and superior in technology. It works. Our simple pill organizer, coupled with programmable electronic medication reminders and a schedule card, are easy for customers to understand and respond to. Updates can be sent by remote from our customer service center to the system if features or capabilities need modification.
We provide materials and counseling to every new customer so they understand the importance of wearable devices such as a pendant, and we help each customer review a 15-point simple survey to reduce common areas of risk in the home. We phone, introduce and train the responsible parties in the family or neighborhood who may be notified during an emergency of what to expect and how to help if needed. We work with customers to make sure we have their physicians information, know their allergies, current and prior conditions, and their preferred hospital.
Our customer service department delivers personal service, goes the extra mile for customers and will do everything within their power to satisfy. All of our staff members are cross-trained to handle product, sales and customer service related matters. Key decision makers are always available to manage special circumstances for customers. Customers get the professional they need, when they need it.
The monitoring facility is second to none. It is a world class operation. The computer automation systems are quadruple redundant. A 2400 square foot, redundant UPS room powers the facility in the event of a power outage, prior to two, secured and redundant, twin turbo charged, 12 cylinder, Caterpillar Diesel generators taking over the job. Main utility feeds enter the building through multiple service providers from multiple locations. Service will not be interrupted. It is the most advanced monitoring facility in operation. All staff members including the executive team are cross trained on operations. Each operator must have a minimum 2 year college degree or equivalent military experience. Operators complete a rigorous training that can span up to 6 months. The reason? Because each operator handling medical emergencies is a fully licensed, fully certified, Class B Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Many operators actually work shifts as first responders dealing with trauma patients and accident victims during their off-days from the monitoring facility. Our operators will stay on the line until help arrives. That means when they connect through our higher quality hands-free communication console to the customer in need, and response is required, the operator will stay on the line, consoling the customer, diverting their attention from the pain or injury, collecting information and reassuring the customer until the first responder is kneeling at their side delivering aid.
