I encourage everyone to take a turn at being a leader. You have it within you to be a leader. You just have to tap into your inherent leadership skills and put them to use. The first few times you take on a leadership role, it will take some nerve and courage. But once you get the hang of it, it starts to become second nature. Try little things at first, such as taking the lead among a group of friends with whom you feel comfortable. Maybe take the lead on a project your group has always wanted to do. Then move up to bigger projects and responsibilities. You’ll be amazed by how quickly your confidence grows when it comes to assuming a leadership role.
